Biblioteca Nacional Aruba invites you to an exposition of artworks by Fernando Castillo. "Subconscious Females" is the title of the exhibition presented by the young Venezuelan artist Fernando Castillo. The exposition shows 19 works, portraits of women. Castillo expresses a message through his paintings: "to pay tribute to the inner strength of the women".
According to Castillo his technique expresses the strength of women with a high degree of sensitivity reflected in the eyes of these women, in each one of his paintings. He tries to announce a new phase in his life with the use of strong bright colors. These colors to Castillo highlight the message that he wants to transmit.
Fernando Castillo was born in Caracas, Venezuela, in 1996. From an early age he has been studying at recognized Venezuelan art schools such as the American Academy, the art school design center, the University UNEARTE (old school Armando Reverón). He has also experimented with photography, participating successfully in the program FILA Caracas 2012 and 2013. He will soon continue his art studies at the Universidad de Palermo, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The exposition is open from 8 till 5 o’clock in the evening (on Wednesday till 7 o’clock) till July 17, 2015. We welcome everyone.
