Spirituality and Life values
Stories for the soul: A look into our spiritual dimension through stories from the Kabbalah, the ancient mystical tradition and its contemporary meaning.
Abstract: Inspirational stories, proverbs and parables that help us face life from a perspective of hope. How can allegories of the past be relevant for us, in our hi-tech, fast-changing world? We will look for answers in selected stories about issues like choice and faith; sanity and insanity; success and failure; individualism and responsibility; community life and personal freedom. This course involves four sessions of one and a half hours once a week. The course will be given by Rabbi Daniel Kripper, an acknowledged public speaker and educator on issues of spirituality, religion and psychology. Mr. Kripper is currently the spiritual leader of Beth Israel, the Jewish community of Aruba. Registration is possible by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Contribution is 75 florin per person. Course will start in March. (Monday afternoon, March 6, 13, 20, 27, 2017 from 17:15PM till 19:00 PM.)
