Tricia Chammaa

Born, Fort Polk La., U.S.A. but I was raised in the Mid West with 4 siblings, and two wonderful hard working parents. A childhood most memorable for Family times shared together, meals, church, park trips, drive in movies, picnics, above ground swimming pool with friends and pizza's on weekends, softball games, and amazing Christmas's and Birthdays, actually all Holidays were made special in our household.
My amazing chef/husband Michael and I have a dinner restaurant on the Island of Saba, close to St. Martin & St. Bart's called The Brigadoon, google us and drop by sometime! The diving is hard to beat here as is the hiking, rock climbing, fishing, snorkeling, dining and island time relaxing for true! My hobbies include scuba diving, sky diving, spending time on the beach, reading and writing and training and working with animals, as we have three dogs and two cats, and I am the island pet sitter in Saba.
As a new writer I hope you enjoy my journey's along the way. My first project is a series of lesson learning children's books with hopes to be distributed one day school wide. My goal is to teach life lessons in a fun way. My first lesson/book called 'Sandaleena Queen Snail Of Saba', and it is in regards to littering, and my second is on the subject of Bullying. I have a series of six planned for my first package for distribution.
It's a pleasure and honor to be part of the Children's Book Festival in Aruba. I was so excited when I got a phone call and got the invitation to attend. This is my first time attending a Book Festival.
I just wanted to say in closing, it is always a pleasure to see young people pick up a book and read. This broadens their mind.
Keep on reading!!!
