People over 60 learn to use the computer and Smartphone

28/06/2019

Mrs. Jacqueline Woodley took the initiative to offer 10 classes to senior citizens of San Nicolas. And the public Library of San Nicolas joins forces with Jacqueline Woodley in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal number # 10, Combating Social Exclusion.

Here is what Jacqueline the initiator and instructor of the course has to say: “We’re [60+] are not staying behind! In an ever evolving world, where technology is ranked at the top, we the people are forced to go along with it for the sake of development. We cannot stay behind, because we will be left behind. With that thought in mind, the groups most vulnerable to be the victims of this development, are the senior citizens and our elderly. They will be taught how to use the computer and Smartphone in 10 sessions.”
This free course will take place from June 28 to July the 29th, 2019 at the library in San Nicolas from 9 to 11 AM, from Monday to Friday. To register please call # Mrs. Jacqueline Woodley # 561 9749 or Mrs. Judith Ling at 584 5277
