Juliette de Wit (1958) is in Amsterdam geboren, daar woont ze nog steeds. Sinds ze in 1982 is afgestudeerd aan de Rietveld Academie, waar ze o.a. les kreeg van Thé Tjong Khing, is ze full time illustrator. Inmiddels zijn er zo’n 450 door haar geïllustreerde titels, van de kinderboeken is de serie Spekkie en Sproet (Vivian den Hollander) het meest bekend. Naast het werken op papier tekent ze meestal digitaal. Juliette tekent ook graag stripverhalen. Ook geeft ze interactieve workshops en lezingen. Daarnaast zingt en speelt ze basgitaar in twee bands.
